The client, seeking to innovate in healthcare technology, identified the need to develop an application capable of capturing ECG data from Samsung/Android OS wear watches and securely transmitting this information to a cloud environment. The primary challenge was to create a reliable solution that could seamlessly collect ECG data from wearable devices in real-time and store it in a secure cloud environment.

In the healthcare technology sector, the industry was experiencing a growing demand for wearable devices capable of capturing and transmitting vital health data. However, challenges persisted in creating a solution that ensured data accuracy, security, and real-time transmission. The Solution
Our approach involved a multi-faceted solution. Initially, we focused on registering the application with the Samsung Developers Portal and making a Partnership Request for the Samsung Privileged Health SDK. This step was critical in gaining access to the necessary tools and permissions for working with Samsung wear watches.
The software stack for development was carefully considered, with Android Studio and Tizen SDK as potential options. The choice between these two significantly impacted the project timeline, as it influenced the development process.
Once Health SDK permissions were secured, our team proceeded with the development phase. We designed the application to capture ECG data from Samsung wear watches and facilitate its secure transmission to a cloud environment. The architecture included real-time data synchronization and ensured data integrity.
